This hinge is compatible with the AEG CaFamosa coffee machine, making it an ideal replacement for both front and rear hinges on water and bean covers. I created this design as a response to the limitations of existing alternatives, which failed to fit my machine properly (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2025518). To address these shortcomings, I aimed to craft a more robust part than its original counterpart. To repair your hinge using this replacement, follow these steps: 1. Remove any remaining fragments from the broken hinge with a small saw and a utility knife. 2. Hold the new part in place on the cover and test for smooth movement. 3. Once satisfied with the fit, secure the replacement hinge to the cover using a hot melt glue gun; alternative adhesives may also be effective. The result is a seamless integration of the repair piece into the original design.
