Hinge / M4 screws / 25mm offset
thingiverse
The hinge makes use of an M4 screw that's at least 30mm long as its hinge pin, and it features four countersunk mounting holes suitable for M4 screws. Once assembled, the entire hinge measures 30mm x 40mm x 18mm in size. When folded back, this hinge provides a clearance of 25mm between the two mounting surfaces, which is ideal for clearing handles or other obstructions. The mounting holes on the hinge are positioned at 20mm intervals and are situated 13mm away from the edge of the panel where it's fixed. This setup offers perfect symmetry, making it easy to print just one STL file and then duplicate it to create both halves of the hinge. To secure the hinge pin in place, I used an M4 x 30mm screw without any nut.
