Hinge holding Plexiglass

Hinge holding Plexiglass

This hinge lays flat on itself and opens to at least 90. It is set for M4 bolts and lock nuts to hold the plexiglass and added a cone for 1.25 wood screws. I printed this on a Prusa and was able to print the hinge (rounded side) facing up on the plexiglass holder. Alternately, adding some supports to the rounded side also worked but made for a lot of manual cleanup after the print. The two pieces fit VERY snugly together and if stressed can break the smaller angled piece. Further, due to the layering, the hinge is bumpy (feeling like it has preset positions and hard to bunce between them). Just working the hinge normally effectively sands this problem away which I did prior to adding the actual hinge (to allow for the pieces to separate rather than break). I am using 6Dx2" box nails for the hinge itself and cutting that to fit.
