Hinge for IFÖ toilet

The original hinge for IFÖ toilets appears to be of subpar quality or design, as it frequently breaks when attempting to remove the lid from the bowl. To rectify this issue, I have designed a replacement hinge featuring integrated springs that ensure secure positioning while also facilitating easy removal. This new design can be printed lying down with supports focused on the hinge component. Utilize the pin from the original hinge for optimal results. During testing, I employed 5% infill settings due to the part's inherent strength stemming from its unique design and print orientation. However, I adjusted the extrusion width to 0.7 mm for perimeters to minimize gap fill issues. On May 23rd, 2020, I made significant updates to the design after realizing that the toilet lid could potentially fall back and strike your lower back during use, causing considerable discomfort.
