Hinge drill jig
thingiverse
This jig comes in handy when placing a hinge, particularly when tackling Ikea kitchens. You can position the holder on a corner and use it to guide a 5mm drill bit. I'll be using mine more frequently now that I've upgraded it with 10mm holes and added two steel bushings for extra durability. The opening at the front is 6.5mm, making it simple to cut a M8 thread for attaching a handle or other component. My Festool handle fits perfectly into this hole, ensuring a secure connection. For less frequent use, consider opting for the 5mm hole version of this jig. When printing, I found that using colorfabb PLA XT with 5 outer layers and 80% infill resulted in a product that functions flawlessly.
