Hinge Cover - Door upscaled to Desk

thingiverse

My first upload to thingiverse - just a basic design(s). Hing covers - Door to desk. I bought a set of motorized desk legs from Amazon in the summer. I needed a desktop... Decided for now to use an old hollow core (foam filled) closet door as a desk until summer arrives and temps warm up for some word-working in the garage. After removing the old hinge covers I needed to fill in the couple millimeter deep gap it created where each hinge was removed. I also made a quick basic grommet for the door handle hole which measured 2 and1/4 inches in diameter. I know this is a basic 3d design but I uploaded it for those that may not know how to get started with designing even something basic. I uploaded the obj file as well, so it can be edited with ease. Hinge cover is 89.2mm by 34mm by 2mm. Door handle grommet is 2 and 1/4 inch outside diameter of the tube that goes into the door handle hole. The grommet is 36mm deep on the portion that goes in the door handle hole. I printed with silk copper pla. Looks good on the door. Nothing special. Have a great day.
