I designed this custom hinge specifically for mounting a Unimog cab on the front of the TRX-4. It's engineered to slide seamlessly into the factory bumper mount holes, making it compatible with the rear bumper mount as well. This means you can use it to attach a hinged flat bed or similar setup. The two halves of the hinge fit together snugly, preventing any sideways movement. To get them to align properly, you may need to do some minor filing. In the middle up-stand with three supporting pillars, there's a slightly smaller diameter hole that allows for a 3mm machine screw to take hold. I used longer machine screws and didn't overtighten them to avoid seizing the hinge.
