Hinge

Hinge

I'm impressed with this nifty little hinge design. It's a basic yet functional concept that gets the job done. What really stands out is the use of 1.75mm filament for the pin, which allows for some creative heat-forming techniques to hold it in place. The tapered holes are cleverly designed to increase surface area for the q-bond filler to get into, making it easier to glue everything together after placement. This is a great example of thinking outside the box and using materials in unexpected ways. I love that this design works as-is, but I can also see the potential for scaling it up or down depending on the specific application. Just be sure to find an alternative pin material if you decide to resize it!
