Hillsboro Plain rim of a jar sits proudly on display in the Wall site located in Orange County, North Carolina. This ancient relic dates back to the Late Woodland period spanning from AD 1500-1600. Crafted from ceramic material, its dimensions are quite impressive - measuring 135.1 mm in length and 93.0 mm in width with a thickness of just 7.1 mm. Interestingly, this jar is cataloged as number 2352p1128 within the North Carolina Archaeological Collection at the Research Laboratories of Archaeology housed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Chloe Scattergood's expertise led to the creation of an accurate model of this historic piece.
