The Taing Burial Chamber stands proudly on the hill, its entrance a mysterious opening in the rugged landscape of South Nesting, Shetland Isles, Scotland. The Shetland Isles Sites and Monuments Record, cataloged as number 3113, describes this site as a distinctive heel-shaped cairn, but my recollection is vividly focused on the chamber itself. Geographically pinpointed at HU 46115 51777, I captured its image on September 12, 2015, an occasion etched in memory. Later, on January 7, 2016, a digital model of this ancient site took form through the application of Agisoft PhotoScan (MetaShape).
