Hilbert Curve Marble Machine with Screw Lift

Hilbert Curve Marble Machine with Screw Lift

thingiverse

I designed a Hilbert Curve marble machine with a screw lift, so I created one in Fusion 360. To help me create an svg of the Hilbert Curve, I used the following website: https://anvaka.github.io/lsystem/?code=%2F%2F%20Hilbert%20curve%0Aaxiom%3A%20X%0Arules%3A%20%0A%20X%20%3D%3E%20-YF%2BXFX%2BFY-%0A%20Y%20%3D%3E%20%2BXF-YFY-FX%2B%0A%0Aangle%3A%2090%0AstepsPerFrame%3A%2010%0Adepth%3A%205 Since I wanted to retain some of the shape of the Hilbert Curve, there is no base, and the curve can be seen from the bottom. There are two versions that are very similar, but one will require less filament than the other. This marble machine is designed for 9 mm marbles, so it's recommended to scale it for any other size of marble. Before printing, make sure to turn the cap and handle over 180 degrees. The best part about this design is that you don't need supports!
