The Diskoid Stone #44. Origin: The Cemetery of Argineta. The stone is fragmented; its surface has been well regulated and smoothed; it has a circular head. It is broken off; the neck, handle and half of the disk are missing. A composite schema: Decoration is raised in semi-circular arcs, duplicating the schema of the 43rd tombstone. In the middle of the semi-circle, an astral motif can be found, made in low relief with eight branches; the motif is found in three half-circles separated by intaglios and lightly marked. The back has a circular groove, 8 cm wide, also made in axial incision, which runs along the entire perimeter of the disk. Dating: VII-VIII centuries.
