Hikone Castle, located in Shiga Prefecture, Japan, is a prominent historical site dating back to 1603 during the Edo period. Originally built as part of Otsu castle in 1575, it was later moved and completed by Ii Naokatsu's brother, Naotake. Despite many castles being dismantled in 1868 with the advent of the Meiji era, Hikone Castle survived due to an emperor's request. Today, it remains one of Japan's oldest original-construction castles. The castle serves as a prop in DAZ Studio with 379,504 polygons, featuring dsf, duf/ png textures, and normal/ bump maps. However, its size makes it unsuitable for close-up shots with Poser/DAZ people. It is best utilized in medium to long-range scenes.
