Hiking pole basket

I purchased some new hiking poles from Bass Pro Shops a few years ago. The baskets on them eventually fell apart when I used them lately; they literally crumbled into fragments. I usually find solutions to problems like this using my 3D printer. For these replacement baskets, I decided on PCTPE filament; it's a top-notch material — quite flexible yet relatively stiff. **Print Setup** Following the recommendations on the filament's product page, I printed the baskets onto a glass plate coated with PVA (a liquid adhesive that makes printing easy to remove afterwards). When printing, my heated print bed would not reach 45C as recommended. It stuck a bit to the print plate; however, I turned up the temperature to 70C. Doing so improved sticking and helped when using even more PVA on the plate. Luckily, only one basket began to curl and peel off. Despite that, it remained fixed in place well enough to complete printing.
