I went about creating new baskets when we lost some of our old ones and couldn't find replacements anywhere. To get the thread pitch right, I had to try out several test prints until I found one that fit my needs with a 2.5 mm thread. I was determined to make sure it was just right, even if it meant going through some trial and error. The result is a very snug fit, which suits me fine. I'm still unsure whether our "High Colorado Carbon TI" poles are high-quality or cheap, as we bought them at a local outdoor shop for about 40 bucks. But I've grown to like them and think they're worth keeping around. It's possible that the baskets won't fit other brands' poles, but it might be worth checking to see if all the manufacturers use the same thread. My print settings seemed stable enough, which is good to know for future projects. The PETG filament I used came from 3DPSp.de and worked well for me as usual. It's a great material to work with - sturdy, no adhesion issues, and nice colors at a reasonable price.
