I stumbled upon this model while digging through an old hard drive alongside a few other models I had worked with years ago. Since I couldn't find a suitable model for the Highwind on Thingiverse, I decided to share this one as the Highwind is undoubtedly one of my favorite ships in the Final Fantasy series. The uploaded model is the original updated to a new format since it was originally designed using outdated 3D modeling software. Alongside the updated model, I have provided the cuts I made for my initial print, allowing you to customize it however suits your needs. I anticipate updating this model soon to simplify assembly once printed, as during the initial print, I simply sliced and glued parts together. I intentionally omitted small details like antennas and wires in the original model, which can be replicated using extracted filament for the wire and a small amount of filament for the antenna, my preferred method. I am aware that there are symmetry issues within the model, which will be addressed in future updates. The printed image is from a Monoprice Maker Select printed with ABS, but it was plagued by quality issues primarily due to poor setup, as some parts were printed before making crucial modifications to the printer.
