Highly Customizable Adapter Plate GeneratorThis OpenSCAD program can help you generate an adapter plate to connect multiple objects. The only thing you have to do is to specify:required adapter plate's length, width, height and corners rounding radius,list of parameters of the required holes (for example, for hot-pushed inserts),list of parameters of the required screw slots (including orientation),list of rectangular cut-outs if you want to, e.g., save filament and printing time,list of types of screws, if you need to use various screw slot types (maybe some M4s with flat heads + some M3s with countersunk heads, etc.).This project can be used in the following two ways:generate your own models using Customizer enabled here in this project by Thingiverse.generate your own models using OpenSCAD software and the provided file (customizable-universal-adapter-plate.scad).The attached STL example-adapter-plate.stl file is only to show you an example of a generated adapter plate. I used it to mount a power strip and a laptop power adapter under an IKEA TROTTEN 120x70cm countertop that has spare M6 mounting holes. I did not want to drill any holes in the countertop - this is how the idea for this project came to my mind.Below, you will find explained in detail how to generate another example adapter (example-adapter-plate-round-100mm-1xM6-4xM3inv.stl).Free-of-charge OpenSCAD software to edit the file (and to generate STL files) can be downloaded from the official source here: https://openscad.org/downloads.html
