Higher motor end for Rostock Mini Pro
thingiverse
The display adapter for the RAMPS print won't fit completely if stock motor ends are used with an Rostock Mini Pro, since they lack a few millimeters to clear when installed below the printer. These custom motor ends sit eight millimeters higher than originals did. Instructions Motor placement sits about halfway on its mount, moving it upward four millimeters due to design changes from the standard end setup, giving you a reduction of eight millimeters in total height and a shorter belt length as well when compared to how things were originally before you installed the new parts (assuming those rods came that long prior to replacement). You can opt to adjust by either cutting your existing belts down by 8mm since they'll now be eight millimeters shorter, check each belt separately beforehand to get accurate measurements and adjust print height by another eight mm on top of this alteration, or decide instead to simply lift new bottom rod parts four millimeters higher up (not touching new tops in process) so total belt length stays consistent yet prints become four mm shorter due loss.
