The design of this 3D printable 80mm EDF revolves around harnessing a significant amount of thrust, approximately 1-2 kilograms at an impressive speed of 35,000 to 40,000 RPMs. This project is deeply rooted in a numerical experiment that integrates computer virtualization and the SolidWorks API. The ultimate objective is to employ numerical solutions to pinpoint the optimal single-stage turbine configuration, one that efficiently conserves energy while producing high thrust levels. Designing this EDF involved utilizing SolidWorks 2015 as the primary design tool.
