Introducing my affordable, high-tech jump rope! Get your own and your friends' in shape for the beach season. With just a few materials, you can assemble it easily. You will need: 2 PG7 cable glands, 2x 61801 ball bearings (12x21x5mm), 4 printed handle parts, about 3m plastic-covered steel rope/laundry line (4-6mm outer diameter - e.g., 4mm laundry line), and tennis grip tape/tape/fishing rod heat shrink tube/shoelaces (Superglue is optional). Follow these steps for assembly: 1) Print four handle parts, with the best results achieved when laying flat without support. 2) Remove nuts and washers from cable glands' back. 3) Press ball bearings into cable glands and secure with glue if desired. (PG7s have a 12.5mm thread, so it should be a press fit; M12 cable glands are too loose.) 4) Insert plastic-covered steel cable between 4 and 6mm, adjust length, and tighten cable glands. 5) Combine two handle parts to create one handle using laces, tape, glue, or shrinking tube. 6) Adjust the final length and start your workout! Enjoy!
