High Strength Hanging Loop
thingiverse
This high-strength hanging loop was designed by me for everyday use. It boasts two 4mm holes with a 2mm chamfer to accommodate drywall screws and other countersunk head screws. In the scenario depicted, I've installed several in my basement laundry room for drying garments. Print Settings: Printer: Tygrin Engineering Deltabot Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .1mm Infill: 100% Notes: This hanging loop was engineered to be printed from a high-strength material. In the instance shown, it was printed from Taulman Nylon 645B (Bridge) at 100% infill. The material was printed at 245C on 45C glass with a layer of PVA glue applied. When mounted to a stud in this form, the loop is incredibly robust. I tested the resulting product under an 80-pound hung weight without any deformation, delamination, or worrisome creaking occurring.
