High Stability Parametric Z-Probe Holder

High Stability Parametric Z-Probe Holder

The original z probe holder was quite flexible; thus, I designed a sturdy and balanced one. This design aligns the microswitch contact point with the servo rotation pivot for maximum stability. The parametric design allows modification of the probe length from servo to microswitch, making it as short as possible. Although it's used on makerfarm printers, stock length might need adjustment post-printing new x carriage assy. Auto-bed levelling isn't vital for me due to a level build platform but is useful for bed surface scanning (revealing bent X rods) and manual corner levelling assistance. Marlin V1 firmware required modifications to support this fully, a fork can be provided if needed. Printed in ABS with 50% infill, ensuring clean-up of parts for perfect fitting; drill servo mount holes yourself. Remove microswitch arm due to excessive bending and use two screws to attach the switch (drill slightly enlarged microswitch holes). Ensure it's configured for normally open operation for better repeatability.
