High Speed Tiny Trak
thingiverse
This is a miniature fully 3D printed tank that features a first person view (FPV) camera on the front. Controlled by a remote control transmitter and a compact brushed ESC, it moves quickly and handles well around the backyard. The 3D printed flexible TPU treads allow it to climb various terrains and obstacles with ease. Its small size makes any space an adventure waiting to happen! The parts listed below can be printed and assembled according to the photos above. If you have any questions, please leave a comment! Enjoy tanking! Design Notes: Because of the heavy motors used in this design, I recommend adding some counterweight at the rear of the craft to prevent flipping. I used nails for this purpose but any small metal object will do. In future versions, this issue will be addressed, so stay tuned for updates! Printing Notes: The body and wheels were printed in PLA using standard PLA settings. For the TPU treads, a flexible profile was used, and they were printed slowly with support. A part called tread TEST PRINT has also been included to test your TPU settings without printing an entire tread.
