High Speed Reducer 1:44

Parts crafted in AutoCAD using INCH measurements may demand scaling up due to size discrepancies. This high-speed reducer boasts an impressive 1:44 worm gear reduction ratio, necessitating specific bolts for attaching retaining plates, end caps, motor housings, and plugs. The required fasteners are .375-16 bolts, while a .500-13 plug completes the assembly. PLA material was predominantly used for part fabrication, with TPEE reserved for gaskets and rubber pads on the base. Print duration can fluctuate significantly depending on selected print settings; my prints took approximately 51 hours to complete all parts. Optimal print parameters included a .25 layer height and 20 percent infill density. The entire assembly was printed using a LulzBot Mini.
