High Speed Quad 8 inch props
thingiverse
Here's a high-speed, multirotor ACV (Automated Courier Vehicle) with a tennis ball drop feature, perfect for competition use. The aircraft has achieved a maximum speed of 144 km/h, which is an impressive feat. To learn more about this project and obtain the necessary parts, please check out my blog post on DIYDrones, located at: http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/printed-high-speed-avc-copter-and-crash. Building these aircraft with ABS plastic yields great results when you use a 20% fill ratio and apply 4 or more outer layers. To produce the required parts, I utilized support material and elevated the entire structure off the build bed to ensure it was fully supported by the supports. However, this process produces internal supports in the arms that must be carefully removed with a screwdriver. When doing so, exercise caution not to break the arms during removal.
