High-resolution heightmaps and geometry for Uganda Texture

Collection of ultra-high-definition terrain models and topography for the nation of Uganda. Preview images have had peak elevations enhanced to facilitate visibility, however these heightened points do not accurately represent actual elevation levels. Grey-scale values ranging from 0-1 correspond to elevations between -100 and 10,000 metres in height. To achieve an accurate outcome, greyscale values should be adjusted according to these standards. Files within this dataset reference geographic coordinates aligned with the following latitudes and longitudes: Minimum latitude: -2.0 Maximum latitude: 5.0 Minimum longitude: 29.0 Maximum longitude: 36.0 The provided heightmap models come in two distinct projections, each utilising earth-based coordinate systems for accuracy. Cartesian alignment uses the geographic poles as reference points and ensures a highly precise representation. Alternatively, another heightmap has coordinates mapped onto a mercator projection system.
