High-Profile Nyquist v3 Hex Case

With inspiration from /u/opsecpanda, I built another, better version: I upgraded to Nyquist rev3 PCBs from keeb.io. Kailh Speed Coppers are now lubricated for smoother performance. A new HIGH PROFILE 3D printed case has been created (a first for the Nyquist, as far as I know). This case is based on an original design by /u/opsecpanda. We met in the sub and started discussing Nyquist and 3D printed cases. They motivated me to learn a bit of 3D modeling so that I could make changes to the case that I had wanted, such as chamfered corners and a high-profile plate design. I wanted to build a board unlike any other, and I love the design of the Nyquist, but I dislike exposed switches. Many handwired / split boards seem to feature exposed switches, which detract from their overall appearance. The best case I had seen available was on thingiverse, designed by opsecpanda...but again, it featured an exposed switch design. So I learned how to 3D model enough to rework the design into something that not only meets my needs but exceeds them! I added approximately 5mm to the overall thickness of the case without adding any height to the plate, resulting in a sunken plate with a stepped bezel. I am extremely happy with the outcome. Here's the finished product - I'm thrilled with it. I'll take a break from 3D modeling for a couple of days, but I will upload my modified files to thingiverse as a remix. This thing looks amazing AF. Thanks, opsecpanda! Print the case as oriented. Flip the plate and print flat side down. Mirror each part for the opposite hand. Parts snap together. You may need to adjust the print size by +/- 1% (depending on how well-tuned your printer is) if the plate and case won't fit together properly.
