UPDATE 5/25/2019: I've created a thinner version designed specifically for the 50x50mm (since the 50mm panels are cheaper and easier to obtain). Visit https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3653760. I required some bright, long-lasting lights for an outdoor fence. This design was created with that purpose in mind. After numerous tests and revisions, they function flawlessly, even at 4am when I check on them. This light is designed to work seamlessly with a 60x60mm 2v solar panel, which can be easily sourced from eBay or Aliexpress. Required components include: 1) yx805 solar light chip 2) 33uH inductor 3) 1 watt LED (with low enough current to eliminate the need for a heat sink) 4) Nicad battery with an approximate capacity of 600-1800ma 5) 60x60mm 2v solar cell You can either print and build the circuit as provided or create your own.
