High Flowy, Easy-Printy 80mm & 120mm Fan Grilles

Tired of grilles that severely restrict air flow and aren't optimized for a 0.4mm nozzle? Wake up with this high-flow, easy-print fan grille solution. 0.8mm grid walls are ideal for: * Easy printing * Excellent wall bonding with a 0.4mm nozzle * Virtually no airflow restriction **The Design Story** I'm using the Arctic F12 Silent fans on my desk, which have reduced airflow but offer impressive silence. However, the honeycomb grille I found on Thingiverse significantly restricted air flow. Moreover, it wasn't designed for a 0.4mm nozzle - there was a noticeable gap that compromised its strength. So, I created this fan grille design. It features larger grid patterns that won't block as many small objects and has 0.8mm grid material, allowing two walls to bond perfectly with no gap. The result is airflow that's hardly limited at all. Drawback? The enlarged hexagons may allow small objects to enter the fan. For me, the hexagon size works just fine. **Print Settings** I printed this grille design using 0.3mm height PLA material. If you don't need rigidity, scale the Z height down to 60% or so for a lighter print. **Affiliate Links Notice** I use affiliate links to help pay for some of the supplies used in my videos, tests, prototypes, and projects. I have a strong stance about how I will and won't use affiliate links. Read more here: https://www.keithstestgarage.com/affiliate-usage
