High-End Graphics card support
thingiverse
First, in the photos, my name is clearly displayed on the support, yet the .STL file itself remains blank of any signature. I'd heard rumors about massive and heavy GPUs succumbing to their own weight over time, so I took it upon myself to create a support that would fit snugly around any graphics card. This innovative design consists of two primary components: the support itself, and a detachable spacer that can be effortlessly slid through its frame. Measuring 6 mm in thickness, this sturdy support secures itself to the case using the same bolts that hold up those metal plates. Its length is meticulously crafted to match that of a GTX 680, coming in at approximately 26.3 cm. I've had this support for quite some time now, and it functions admirably, although it's not quite on par with the ones you can purchase from an aluminium supplier. A note-worthy detail: if you're inclined to make any adjustments or modifications to this design, feel free to download the Inventor files I've uploaded – enjoy!
