High Detail Visor for Halo 4 Helmet Full Size A
thingiverse
I created a makeshift visor solution until I got my hands on a vacuum former. I printed it, sanded it, primed it, and then gave it a glossy gold finish on both sides. Next, I used a high-quality chrome mask to cover the back of the visor, ensuring maximum visibility. Overall, I'm satisfied with the results. However, there's an issue with the hex pattern that slipped my attention at the bottom-right corner of the visor. Fortunately, I was able to correct mine after printing, but you might want to take care of it using your software. Additionally, make sure to allow several days for the final coat of gold spray paint to dry completely, as I found out by waiting two days and still experiencing a faint fingerprint residue even with a nitrile glove while hot gluing the mirror mask pieces. The no-face chrome mask used in this project can be purchased from Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Disguise-DIS39340-Face-Chrome-Mask/dp/B007S016WQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1535773389&sr=8-1&keywords=mirror+face+mask.
