A simple strain relief is designed to support the bowden tube where it meets the extruder stepper, alleviating any potential issues caused by bending of the cable bundle zipped tied to the tube as recommended. This solution has resolved the problem for me. In revision 2, I've enhanced the design with outer reinforcement and sufficient clearance that allows it to slip on both sides smoothly when printed in PLA. I'm currently working on a drag chain design which will be linked once completed and thoroughly tested.
