I don't like the white box on my windshield and there are two velcro strips stuck to the window even when the transponder is not in use. This case mounts the transponder in the correct orientation on the back of the rearview mirror, making it easy to switch between vehicles. WARNING: I strongly advise against attempting this modification and take no responsibility if you damage your I-pass device. To disassemble my transponder, I used a hot knife to carefully cut through the seams. For my wife's transponder, I employed a Dremel tool for more precise cuts. If done correctly, cutting at the seam will reveal a gap below the board, and slow, shallow cuts are essential to avoid damaging the device. The uploaded parts are oriented correctly for printing, with no additional support required. The case was printed with zero infill, while the lid and mount were printed with 20% infill for added strength. I opted for PETG filament, which holds up well in high temperatures. To secure the mount to the mirror, I used a command strip.
