Hidden Vent Soffit Hanger for Christmas Lights

<p>I was unable to find any existing Christmas light hanger that would attach quickly, securely and without damage into our "hidden vent" style vinyl soffit (<a href="https://www.plygem.com/siding/other-siding-products/vinyl-soffit/ventura-hidden-vent/">Ply Gem Mastic Ventura Hidden Vent</a>). I designed this hanger to snap into a Christmas light hook and then lock into the soffit vent with a 90 degree twist. The set shown in the photos survived a snowy Pennsylvania winter last year and is ready to hang again this season.</p><p>Each hanger takes about 5 minutes to print with a 0.4mm nozzle and the “0.3mm DRAFT” default in PrusaSlicer. Consider increasing perimeters to 3 and setting infill to 0%. This strengthens the shell of the part without increasing print time or material usage. I suggest printing a single hanger to test the fit with your lights and your soffit. Make changes to the Fusion 360 model if needed. Add instances in PrusaSlicer for the number of lights you want to hang, plus spares.</p><p>Optional, you can reduce print time and improve toughness by using a larger nozzle if you have one.
