Hidden spring loaded cabinet/door closer

I have a need to make sure a door in my house remains closed, unless I am actively going through it. due to the special nature of this door, I could not mount a standard spring loaded hinge, and only needed a light "closing pressure" Here is my solution. I hope you like it.... It is designed to install using a 7/8" drill bit, either paddle bit or Forstner bit, and a 7/16" bit for the barrel of the closer. Additionally, I have included an alignment tool the same size as the spring barrel. once drilling for one side, install the alignment tool to mark the matching side.The spring was purchased from a local hardware store, and the dimensions are shown in the photos You will have to play around with the tension and length of the spring and how far to stretch it depending on how much force you need..
