Hidden Blade (extended, dual action), basic components - ASSASSIN'S CREED
thingiverse
I'm still working on creating a functional hiddenblade from Assassin's Creed for my cosplay. I've been following the topic "hiddenblade" for quite some time and think imdeepainreborn's design is fantastic! - youtube.com/watch?v=BFviA8Y_WCk&t=184s So, I took some of his ideas and created this one here :) It's still a work in progress but it's working decently so far. I'll keep updating it regularly and add more details later on. Instruction video: https://youtu.be/_YZ1rFiWkig Unfortunately, the assembly of the blade casing isn't shown because my camera battery died too quickly! Either way, assembling the blade case is the hardest part (in my opinion), and I don't have a good workflow for it. It's trial and error! I also added parts for a 'button' version that lets you activate the mechanism with a button - you can still use a string! Just use these parts: middle_part_1_with_button, cover_with_buttonhole. You'll need some extra things to make the hiddenblade work: small rubber bands, paper clips, 6 screws (M3x18) with nuts. For assembly, you'll need super glue and sandpaper.
