I required a surface mount backbox for an HID iClass SE RKLB40 fingerprint/prox reader due to an install where a cut-in box just wasn't feasible so I designed this one myself. To keep things tidy, I'll be drilling a small hole in the side and running some wire-mold through it but in case I can help out the next person, I've included mounting holes for single gang, double-gang, or direct attachment to a 4-square by simply opening up the corresponding screw hole.
