I needed a replacement backplate for my HID contactless/proximity card reader, specifically one that would fit the pivClass model I bought on eBay without a backplate included. #UPDATE It turns out this backplate only works with readers that have an integrated keypad like the HID pivCLASS with keypad: ![HID pivCLASS with keypad](http://www.hidglobal.com/sites/hidglobal.com/files/pivclass-rk40_0.png) Readers without a keypad have a slightly deeper screw hole, which I could easily modify if needed by changing the OpenSCAD source code.
