The original X-Axis belt holder falls short. It is too weak and loosens up quickly with regular use. The most noticeable sign of this issue is "echo" patterns in the x direction during prints. Mine got bent, making it unable to hold the belt anymore. After I removed the belt to tighten it, the piece broke off completely. Upon inspection, it was clear that the part was printed at about 30% filling and wasn't strong enough to hold together well. Rather than printing a new whole piece, I decided to print just the broken part and use longer screws (3Mx10) to secure it to the back instead. Print Settings Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 55% Notes: 55% is strong for ABS printing, but PLA requires at least 80%. Since this is a small part, ensure it's as rigid as possible since it'll be secured to the x-carriage with a screw. Post-Printing File and sand the piece so that it fits snugly in place. The tighter fit will result in better belt holding capabilities and allow for more even tension on the belt.
