Hictop Prusa Y axis Motor Holder & endstop mount

Hi All, After working with the Makerbot Replicator 2 and 5 at school, I purchased this Chinese Prusa clone to experiment with at home. My main goal was to explore the Prusa concept and work with open source hardware. So far, I'm extremely satisfied! However, there is one issue: The Y motor mount. The Y motor generates a lot of heat, which causes the belt tension to warp its mount. Acrylic isn't very heat-resistant, I guess. This design helps prevent that problem. I modified it from JMecky's original design, adding an Endstop (which I had seen elsewhere) so that the endstop is no longer on the moving bed. To me, this makes it much more durable. I remixed it using Tinkercad (very easy!). To print it, I used ABS due to the motor's heat, and so far, everything has run smoothly. The belt is extremely tight, and there have been no problems. The design fits perfectly in the holes, requiring no extra drilling as some other y mount models need. Good luck with your projects!
