HICTOP Prusa I3 Y-Axis Rod Support

On my HICTOP Prusa I3 printer, two acrylic blocks support the Y-Axis rods. Unfortunately, these blocks have very poor tolerances, which causes them to put excessive stress on the rod and bearings or even shatter. Mine did just that.\nYou can easily swap out these blocks with ones you print yourself. Perhaps your friend's printer would work for this task. I discovered that printing PLA blocks provides a bit more flexibility, allowing them to hold the rod securely in place without stressing anything.\nI printed mine using 50% infill PLA and they function perfectly fine.\nDesigning This Part\nThis part was designed in SketchUp
