This is a revised version of the following design. It has been modified to fit the Hictop Prusa i3 printer. The LED lights used are from http://www.banggood.com/5Diatone-3-4S-LED-Decoration-Board-Strip-Set-For-250-Class-Frame-p-962285.html. Three sets must be ordered, as I have done with five, using three and reserving two for spares. These lights can operate at 12 volts. The original creator, PrintPiet, recommends the following: "Before soldering, inspect the LED bars for +/- marks." He also suggests keeping clearance around the heat block and printing in ABS to ensure a strong bond. Printer settings: Printer: Hictop Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 100%
