The Hictop Prusa i3 Acrylic 3DP-08 printed well for me, but had one issue: ghosting on prints made at speeds over 60mm/s. After the success of my hypercube, I decided to build a new frame and transfer all hardware and electronics. This gave me an extra 35mm in Z height. I've attached my Sketchup file for anyone who wants to modify it. To make the 2020 frame, I recommend buying extrusions from Misumi - they charge per item, not per cut, and have the right extrusions with a 6mm channel at the best price around. The fan cover I'm using is thing 1750976 and the fan duct is thing 510957. My extruder is thing 1099016. Here's my BOM for 2020: * (3) 440mm * (2) 340mm * (2) 237mm * Lots of M5 bolts and T nuts The "shoes" STL should be printed with TPU to reduce noise, vibrations, and printer movement. Print Settings: * Printer: Prusa i3 * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Resolution: .20 * Infill: 65% * Notes: Printed with ABS using honeycomb infill. Supports were necessary.
