Hictop Printer Power Switch
thingiverse
The Hictop Prusa I3 3D Printer kit comes with no main power on/off switch. This switch box controls power and removes the hard-wired power cord, allowing a removable power cord to be used instead. You can see the wiring in one of the photos. The red wire connects to/from the switch. Push-on wire connectors are soldered onto the ends of the wires at the switch box, and lugs are soldered on the ends that connect to the power supply. The lugs are insulated with heat shrink tubing. Two M4 machine screws attach the box to the side of the power supply, while it is also hooked onto the bottom edge of the power supply. The power connector used is an Uxcell AC 250V 10A IEC 320 C14 Panel Mount Socket.
