Hictop i3 Linear Rail Clamp
thingiverse
These replacement clamps serve a vital purpose, securing Y Linear Rods firmly to frame rails. In addition to mounting holes that secure the clamps to rails, they feature one vertical hole accommodating an m3 bolt and nylon lock nut, tightened to hold rods snugly in place. To install, note that rear clamps only partially extend through rails, sporting a slit designed for pushing rods fully into position until they hit the end. Tightening the m3 bolt just enough to secure the rod prevents wobbling. Once your y-carriage is securely seated on rods, you can proceed with installing front clamps. Observe that their mounting holes stretch all the way through, facilitating easy installation by allowing clamps to be pushed onto rails from within. This strategic design enables setting rails and clamps snugly between frame rails. Subsequently, slide front clamps up to frame rails, repeating this process for rear clamps as needed. Remember to center your carriage accurately.
