The limit switch of the Y axis on the HICTOP 3DP-17 printer is typically secured underneath the moving bed. However, due to the violent motion of the bed, the cable often gets cut. To resolve this issue, a modification is proposed where the limit switch is attached to the frame side and instead triggered by the bed support plate.
