HicTop adjustable Z sensor holder
thingiverse
I'm Looking for an Easier Way to Adjust My Hictop Z Sensor. I Wanted an Easyer Way to Adjust the Z Sensor on My Hictop, So It's Now Located Close to Its Original Position, Without Needing to Redefine Its Location in Firmware. I Simply Moved the Screw to the Side of the Sensor. It Works Like a Charm and Makes My Day Easier When the Z Needs an Adjustment. I'm Hoping This Helps Others Too. Updates: * The Lock Screw Knob for the Adjustment Screw Is Added. * The 7-Sided Top Adjust Screw Knob Has Been Modified to Accommodate the 0.7mm Thread Rise Due to the Press-Fitted Design. * Acetone Was Used to Glue the Spring Compression Feature to the Sensor Holder, but It's Not Necessary. Room for Spring Compression and a Lock Screw Knob Have Been Added to the Shell. Parts Needed: 1x M4 Machine Screw 2x M4 Nuts 2x Springs from a Pen or Similar Item (About 5-6mm OD), Able to Push the Sensor Holder Up to the Stopper. The Design Is Made to Slide Down on the Original Sensor Mount, Possibly Requiring Filing for Smooth Operation. Printer Settings: Printer: Hictop Aurora Impressora Model DIY Reprap Prusa I3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: Finer Is Better Infill: 40%
