HICTOP 3DP-11 Power Supply Cover

HICTOP 3DP-11 Power Supply Cover

thingiverse

I created a custom power supply cover for my HICTOP 3DP-11 to enable the installation of a standard 3 Pin IEC320 C14 power socket with a built-in power switch. Some other designs only partially enclose the power supply, but I wanted to test the capabilities of my printer's large bed, so I decided to create a full cover. I also included cutouts at the bottom that will accommodate 1/2 inch split loom for the power supply and Z-axis motor cables. You can find the specific power socket I used by following this link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYMNQ2L - there are several other options available in the same form factor. I recommend printing this part in ABS due to its ability to withstand higher temperatures. The walls of the cover are 2mm thick, so I printed it at 250 microns with a perimeter setting of 1 mm, which resulted in a solid print. I've made an update to version 2 of the design, which includes corrected upper screw holes and additional cooling slots. Here are my print settings: Printer: HICTOP 3DP-11 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 250 microns Infill: Full Notes: To achieve full infill, set your perimeters to 1 mm. Since I printed this part with ABS, I expanded the first layer by 20 loops to ensure that the corners would stay adhered to the bed during printing. With PEI over glass on top of my aluminum print bed, setting the bed temperature to 110C and expanding the perimeter worked great for keeping it stuck down. This design was created using OnShape and can be found at: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/c92c2397e713c5ba9dc20644/w/693f52406637b97135960cbf/e/6274dfe95f99a5c8e8469d68
