Hiccup Haddock III Helmet movie 2
thingiverse
Working on this Hiccup Helmet from the second movie, I'm trying my hand at working in Maya for the very first time, so please bear with me. This helmet has never been printed before; I have no idea if these files will work correctly, but I'll be printing them soon. Only the backplates are oriented to print, and you'll need to figure out the size and printing direction on your own. I've decided to redo everything to make it smoother and more precise, so if you have files older than September 13th, they won't work with these new files. September 26th brought smooth versions of the cheeks into play. The light brown leather mouth cover isn't included in the files; I plan on using scrap leather from Michaels arts and crafts. You can get a bag for about $10 and use a 50% off coupon to bring it down to $5, which is an absolute ton of leather.
