This mod is a straightforward upgrade to enhance the Y direction belt motion. I observed that the original guide was causing the belt to drag on its inner surfaces, which was comprised of three 8mm thick Acrylic pieces bolted together. To assemble this new setup, simply utilize the existing fittings. As part of the process, you will need to re-tension the belt. The wheel is secured by pushing it onto the outer ring of the bearing, and then two spacer washers are used to establish a mechanical connection between the inner collar of the bearing and the bearing housing. This configuration allows for the tightening of the axle bolt without distorting the holder. As a result, the system now operates smoothly, with improved ghosting in the Y plane. The model was sliced using Cura, printed with no supports, and featured a 3-line skirt. Infill settings consisted of 30% for the holder and 100% for both the washer and guide. I hope you appreciate the simplicity of this design.
